“S-sorry…” He wrapped his arms around the other, still not really looking at him. “Long month, that’s all. Just… a lot of stuff happened that I’m still recovering from, I guess. I feel like it’d be silly to talk about now since it happened a few weeks ago, though…”
“Tell me anyway, I want to know everything that happens. I feel like it’s the least I can do, since I’m hardly here..”
“… Well, I found out West is gone again, and not coming back this time… and for almost two weeks I felt as though I was fading, so… I was just…” He shook his head slightly. “I was really messed up for a little while.”
Remaining quiet for a bit, he nodded, nuzzling the other’s head lightly, kissing into his hair. “I can understand how that would be frightening. You’re not going to vanish, I promise.”
